What are the eviction notice requirements in Ohio?
A landlord may not retaliate by increasing rent, decreasing services, or pursuing possession because the tenant complained to an appropriate governmental agency about a materially health- or safety-related code violation, complained to the landlord about a violation of ORC § 5321.04, or joined with other tenants to negotiate or deal collectively with the landlord. A rent increase is not prohibited if it reflects the cost of landlord-installed improvements or increased operating costs.
